Backyardigans Finger Puppets

Cut out these printable Backyardigans puppets and let kids' fingers do the walking.

Materials

• Backyardigans Finger Puppets
• Scissors
• Pencil
• Foam sheets or cardboard
• Craft glue or glue stick
• Hole puncher

Directions

1. Step 1

   Print out the Backyardigans Finger Puppets printable and help kids cut out the shapes of the characters.

2. Step 2

   Trace the shapes of the characters onto foam sheets or cardboard. Cut out the foam or cardboard.

3. Step 3

   Help kids glue the characters to the foam or cardboard and allow to dry.

4. Step 4

   Use a hole puncher to cut two holes at the bottoms of each character about 1 to 2 inches from the bottom. Using the puncher, punch around the circles to make the holes big enough for kids to poke their fingers through.

5. Step 5

   Have kids stick their fingers through the two holes and have fun making the characters walk, run, and--of course--dance!
