Blue Paper Dolls

Materials

Blue Paper Dolls Printable
Colored markers or crayons
Scissors
Fabric swatches (optional)
Glitter (optional)
Glue (optional)
Sticky tape (optional)

Tip: If cutting through all the layers is difficult for your child, do it yourself, but leave the unfolding fun for little ones.

Directions

Step 1
Print the Blue's Clues Paper Doll printable and help your kids color in the dolls with markers or crayons.
Step 2
Fold the paper carefully, accordion style, along the dotted lines.
Step 3
Kids can cut out the basic shape, leaving lots of white space around Blue, and parents can cut the fine details. Be careful not to cut the edge where Blue's ears meet.
Step 4
If you'd like, you can glue on swatches of fabric, glitter, and other decorations. Use small pieces of sticky tape to connect several chains together.

Tip: To make a longer chain, cut out several "dolls," then tape them end to end.
