Blue's Clues Art Clips

Create a gallery of your child's artwork. This simple craft takes only minutes to make with clothespins and our printable Blue's Clue's decorations.

This craft has plenty of steps kids can do, like tracing, coloring, decorating, and cutting with safety scissors.

Materials

Blue's Clues Art Clips Printable
Craft glue
Scissors
Wooden clothespins
Ribbons
Pushpins (optional)
Magnetic tape (optional)

Tip: For a miniature version of this craft, use miniature clothespins, available at crafts supply stores.

Directions

Step 1: Print and cut out the shapes
Cut out all the shapes from the Blue's Clues Art Clips printable. (Print on card stock or laminate the paper cut-outs for longer durability.)
Step 2: Make the art clips
Glue one shape to one side of a clothespin. Make as many art clips as you need.
Step 3: Display the artwork
Find a place around the house where you want to hang the artwork. Secure a ribbon between two spots by tying either end of the ribbon to a steady object. Or use pushpins to secure the ribbon on a flat surface. Hang the clips on the ribbon and let Blue and her friends grip the artwork for you!
Craft Variation: Blue's Clues Art Magnets
Affix a piece of magnetic tape to the other side of the finished art clips. Place the magnetic art clips on a refrigerator or a display board, and Blue and her pals will be in position to present your little ones' artwork!

Tip: When hanging, keep the line taut. This will prevent the artwork from weighing it down.
