Blue's Clues Pencil Case

This zippy pencil case is made from home basics, such as a resealable bag, painters' tape, and printable stickers.

You'll need to allow extra time for glue or paint to dry.

This craft has plenty of steps kids can do, like tracing, coloring, decorating, and cutting with safety scissors.

Materials

Blue's Clues Pencil Case Stickers
8 1/2- by 11-inch sticker paper (available at office-supply stores)
Scissors
Heavy-duty, zip-close bag (1-gallon size)
Colored tape

Tip: For the sturdiest case, use freezer bags, not sandwich bags.

Directions

Step 1
Print the Blue's Clues School Stickers printable on a sheet of sticker paper and help your child cut out the pictures with safety scissors.
Step 2
Snip off the bottom of the freezer bag about five inches from the zippered top.
Step 3
Help your child fold pieces of colored tape around the edges of the bag and apply the stickers.

Tip: If a sticker needs to be removed, use warm soapy water to do so.
