Boots Costume

When Dora goes looking for Boots, she'll know where to look: your house!

Catch Dora every day on Nick & Nick Jr.

Materials

• Boots' tummy and ear templates
• Molded felt hat or headband
• Grey, pale pink, and hot pink felt
• Fabric and craft glue
• Lavender or grey footed one-piece pajamas
• Hot pink boots
• Pink and black face paint

Directions

1. Step 1

   Print the tummy and ear templates. From the hot pink felt, cut the tummy piece. Glue or sew it to the front of the pajamas, leaving an opening for the zipper to go up and down.

2. Step 2

   From the grey felt, cut out two outer ears. From the pale pink felt, cut out two inner ears. Glue the inner ears on top of the outer ears.

3. Step 3

   If you are using a molded felt hat, cut the front to create two curves above the eyes that come to a point over the nose (see picture). To the molded felt hat or headband, glue the ears. Let dry.

4. Step 4

   Dress your child in the pajamas and boots.

5. Step 5

   Paint a layer of pink for the face and add the eyebrows and mouth.

6. Step 6

   Put on the ears!
