These slippers stitch up by hand in minutes. Use regular felt, or--to make them extra warm--use wool felt instead. If you prefer, you can make the Boots faces and glue them to storebought slippers instead.
Catch Dora & friends every day on Nick & Nick Jr.

Print the Boots Slippers Templates for both the slippers themselves and for Boots' face. Trace the templates onto the felt, referring to the photo as a color guide. Cut out the pieces.

NOTE: Be sure to cut out the soles in both blue and purple. This double layer keeps little feet cushioned and prevents them from wearing thin. The contrasting color also makes the interior of the slippers look cheery.
Glue one blue sole to each purple sole. Let dry.
The body of the slipper is a horseshoe shape. Center this horseshoe shape so that the front of it (the closed curve part) is at the wider front part of the sole piece. (The open part of the horseshoe will now be toward the back of the sole.) With doubled thread, begin stitching from the center front and along one side of the slipper to the back of the sole with a backstitch. Now, repeat, starting at the front again and stitching along the opposite side of the slipper to the back. Overlap the back “flaps” and stitch them closed.
Glue the pieces of the two Boots' faces together using the photo as a guide. Be sure to glue the "ears piece" to the back of the face. This way, only the curved ears will show.
Glue one face to the front of each slipper.
