No Halloween mission is complete without Bot's costume.
Find the math mavens every day on Nick & NIck Jr.

Print and cut out the Bot Costume Templates. Trace the mask shape onto the cardboard and cut it out. Trace the templates onto the different colored felt pieces. Trace the mask template onto green felt; the mouth piece onto blue felt; the opening on the mouth onto black felt; the antenna cone onto green felt and antenna base onto yellow felt. Cut out all the traced pieces of felt.
Glue the green piece onto to the cardboard. Next, attach the elastic string on either side of the opening, adjusting the length to fit your child's head. Glue the blue and black mouth pieces to the front. Glue the antenna pieces to the straw. Next, glue the straw to the back of the cardboard mask. Reinforce the straw with more cardboard if necessary. Set aside.
Print out the Belly Screen. Place the iron-on transfer paper into your ink-jet color printer as indicated on the package. Print either the reversed or non-reversed image depending on the type of your iron-on transfer paper. Print a test on regular paper first to make sure you've chosen the right design for the type of iron-on paper you have. Set the printable aside for a few minutes to dry, and then cut out the image. Kids can definitely help with this part!
Lastly, make the boot covers. These are covers that these slip over your child's actual shoes, and you can adjust the length as needed. Trace the Bot Boot templates onto green felt. Trace the Boot Sole template onto blue felt. Glue the boots together along the edge of the front only, starting at the front base of the toe and stopping at the top. Add the Boot Sole. For the back closure, apply 2 velcro pieces. Slip over your child's shoes, then do up the closure in the back. The bottom of the soles remain open, and your child is actually walking on his own shoe's soles.
