Bubble Guppies Paper Chain Tree

'Tis the season to be jolly and to decorate your home with the help of cheery friends like Mr. Grouper, Gil, and don't forget Molly! Follow these simple steps to create a paper chain tree that kids can hang and brighten up with our Bubble Guppies printable ornaments.

Materials

• Bubble Guppies Ornaments
• Green, brown, and yellow construction paper
• Scissors
• Glue or tape

Directions

1. Step 1

   Print the paper ornaments, cut, and place to the side for later use.<br><br> Cut strips of the construction paper into equal sizes. Note that you will only need one sheet of brown and yellow construction paper.

2. Step 2

   Begin by matching one end of the green construction paper to the other end to create a loop and using glue to attach the two ends. Pull another strip of paper through this loop, match the ends and glue to create a second ring. Repeat by pulling another strip through the first loop created.<br><br> Create another level of rings by pulling a strip of paper into each of the hanging rings to create loops and then affixing the rings together with another strip of paper. (View larger photo for reference.) Continue in this fashion until you have created your desired size tree.

3. Step 3

   To create the base of the tree, link two of the brown construction paper strips to the green construction rings, and then use another brown strip to link the two brown construction rings together.<br><br> Create a star by creating a ring out of one yellow construction paper and then pulling four other strips through it to create four rings. Form a star by using glue to keep the points in place. Create a thinner paper strip and use to link the top tree link with the star.

4. Step 4

   Help kids decorate the tree by taping or gluing on the Bubble Guppies ornaments. Once decorated, kids can hang the tree on a door or wall using a nail or pushpin!
