Diego Father's Day Car Air Freshener

Here's an air freshener that kids can make for the car in a sporty theme that says: Dad, you're a winner!

Come on Diego's rescues every day on Nick Jr.

Materials

• Diego Air Freshener Decal
• Small piece of craft foam in any color
• Craft glue
• Essential oil or fragrance in pine scent
• Hole-punch
• Lanyard cord
• Colorful beads

Directions

1. Step 1

   Print and cut out the circular Diego decal. Trace the outside of the circle onto the craft foam, then cut that out, too. Glue the design onto the craft foam circle.

2. Step 2

   Punch a hole near the top. Snip about 7 to 8 inches of lanyard cord. Double it and pass the folded end through the hole. Then pass the two loose ends through the folded "loop" created by the folded end. Tug to secure. You'll be left with two "tails" of lanyard string.

3. Step 3

   Thread beads onto the doubled cord, then tie the loose ends in a knot to form a loop.

4. Step 4

   Dab one to two drops of the essential oil on the craft foam. Over time the scent will fade. When this happens, add another drop or two.
