Materials

Diego Field Journal Printable
Scissors
Glue stick
Hole punch
Cotton cord, string, or ribbon

Directions

Step 1
Print and cut out all five pages of the Diego Field Journal Printable.
Step 2
On each page, fold the top journal shape back as indicated and glue the top and bottom shapes back to back. Now you should have five double-sided image cutouts.
Step 3
Punch holes where indicated. Stack all five cutouts in the order that's specified on the printable, with the journal front cover image on top and the back cover on the bottom.
Step 4
Cut two short pieces of cotton cord, string, or ribbon. String all five cutouts together through the two punched holes. Knot the ends and cut away the additional length.
Step 5
Keep flipping and see what animals pop up on the screen!
