Diego Safari Jeep CD Storage for Dad

Materials

• Diego African Safari Stickers
• Inkjet Printer Sticker paper
• CDs
• Sturdy shoebox or gift box
• Craft paints
• Craft paintbrushes
• Glue

Directions

1. Step 1

   Set the box lid to one side.

2. Step 2

   Cut down the sides of the actual box until they are only about 3 inches high. Then cut the away the back of the box so it measures about 5 inches long. To create the windshield, cut along the edge of the box for about 1 inch. Bend the windshield up and crease it in place.

3. Step 3

   Cut a curve to create a door on each side of the jeep.

4. Step 4

   Slip the front of the jeep over the outside edge of the box lid. (The lid creates the back of the jeep and its inside should be facing up so that you can put CDs into it.)

5. Step 5

   Paint a windshield, front grate and headlights on the jeep. Let dry.

6. Step 6

   Meanwhile, cut four wheels from the discarded box and paint them black. When the paint dries, paint hubcaps on them.

7. Step 7

   Glue two wheels to one side of the jeep. Let dry. Flip the jeep and glue on the remaining wheels. Let dry.

8. Step 8

   Print the stickers and add them to the hood and doors of the jeep.

9. Step 9

   Load the back of the jeep with movies and music that Dad is sure to love.
