Dan and a few dinosaurs can hang in your child's room when you create this dino-mite, 3-dimensional craft using pipe cleaners and our printables!
Watch Dino Dan every day on Nick Jr

Print out Dino Dan mobile ornaments on heavy-weight paper. Fold along the solid line, and glue the front and back of each image together to create double-sided ornaments. Then help kids cut out the images. When dry, punch a hole at the top of the ornaments where indicated.
Cut along the dotted or solid lines shown on the dinosaur ornaments. Piece the dinosaurs together by aligning the slits then slipping the slits inside each other.
To make a top for the mobile out of pipe cleaners, cross three pipe cleaners at their middle points, and wrap each pipe cleaner once around the midpoint of another to fasten the three pipe cleaners together. Now you have a mobile top consisting of six branches. Please note that five of the branches will be used to hang the ornaments and the remaining branch will be used to create a loop from which the mobile will be used to hang.

You can also make a mobile top out of a paper plate. To add more flair to the mobile, help your child paint or color the paper plate. Punch holes around the paper plate using a nail or scissors (an adult should do this part), keeping in mind that each hole will represent where each ornament will hang.
Cut six strands of yarn, ribbon, or string at various lengths.

Tie one ornament to the bottom of a strand and tie the strand's top to one branch of the mobile top. Do the same to the remaining five branches. Curl up the six ends of the pipe cleaner to prevent the hanging ornaments from sliding off.

If you are using a paper plate, thread each strand through the ornaments and tie a knot. Then lace the other end of each strand through the holes created in the paper plate. Tie a knot and secure it to the top side of the paper plate using tape.
Wrap one end of the unused pipe cleaner once around the joint (the center) of the mobile top. Bend the pipe cleaner's top portion to create a loop.

To hang your paper plate mobile, tape four strands of equal lengths, to the edge of the plate (two vertical and two horizontal, at opposite ends). Tie the four strands together then tie them to a longer strand. Then create a loop at the end of the longer strand from which the mobile will hang.

The mobile is complete! Hang it on the ceiling or a light fixture, and watch your Dino Dan enthusiast delight in the their new decor!
