Dino Dan's Field Guide

Does YOUR child see dinos everywhere? Here's a place to keep them all. It's a Dino Field Journal. Just like Mom's scrapbook, we included backgrounds, borders, photo corners, and more!

Materials

• Field Guide Scrapbook Collection
• Sticker paper (Optional)
• Scissors
• Crayons, pencils, or colored markers
• Craft glue
• 3-ring loose-leaf paper or notebook
• String, ribbon, or twine (optional)

Directions

1. Step 1

   Print out the Field Guide Scrapbook Collection. Try printing on sticker paper from your local office-supply or craft store for less mess. You can print just the pages your child likes, print all the pages, or print multiple pages. Come back whenever your junior scrapbooker needs more materials!

2. Step 2

   Help kids write their name on the cover and glue or stick the cover to a sheet of loose-leaf paper or to the front of a notebook.

3. Step 3

   If using loose-leaf paper, bind the pages together at all three holes with string or twine to make a book.

4. Step 4

   If you scrapbook, this is a great opportunity to share your scrapbooking suggestions with your child. Your dino lover can scrapbook alongside you! You can help your child plan out the page designs and help add photos, dino stickers, homemade drawings, and captions to the pages.

5. Step 4

   Kids can devote one page to each dinosaur--like Dan does--or mix and match their favorites. They can create dinosaur scenes or embellish the pages however they'd like.
