DJ Lance Costume

Kids, it’s time to rock! So slip into something that your favorite groove-maker would wear.

Materials

• DeeJay Lance Hat Appliqué Templates
• Orange hat
• Yellow and white felt
• Orange zipper long-sleeve shirt (or plain turtleneck)
• Orange sweat pants or regular pants
• Fabric and craft glue
• Long box, such as a shoebox
• Craft paints in white, gray and black

Directions

1. Step 1

   Print the hat appliqué templates and use them to cut out the pieces from yellow and white felt. Glue them together, then glue them to the front of the hat.

2. Step 2

   Cut wide strips of white felt and apply them down the front of the jacket, along the bottom edge, down the arms, and down the sides of the legs of the orange clothing. With a black pen, write “Rock” across the hemline.

3. Step 3

   Dress your child in orange clothing and add the hat!

4. Step 4

   Meanwhile, paint the box gray or purple. Let dry. Then paint circles for speakers, rows for dials and slider buttons to create the boombox. Let dry.
