Materials

Large pink towel
Decorative grosgrain ribbon
Fabric glue, such as FabriTac
Scissors
5 shells
10 short twigs
Plastic lanyard or string in bright colors
Craft paints in bright colors
Paintbrushes

Directions

Step 1
Snip four lengths of ribbon and glue them to the front of the towel to create a tic-tac-toe design.
Step 2
After the glue has dried, turn the towel over. Cut two more lengths of ribbon; they should be the length of the towel plus 10 inches. Center the ribbons near the long sides of the towel with the ties dangling off at either end. Glue in place. Let dry.
Step 3
Paint the shells and twigs in fun colors. Let dry.
Step 4
Make "X"s with the twigs by crossing them and then tying them in place with plastic lanyard or string. Let the games begin!
