Dora's Dancing Forest Puppet Theater

The only way to help Dora get through the Dancing Forest is to make her dance, and your preschooler can help! Use our printables to set up the forest scene, and make finger puppets of Dora and the trees so your preschooler can play along with the episode.

Materials

• Adult-size shoe box
• Dora Forest Puppet Theater Backdrop
• Dora Dancing Trees Finger Puppets
• Scissors
• Glue stick
• Craft sticks

Directions

1. Step 1: Print the Backdrop and Set Up the Scene

   Print out Dora Forest Puppet Theater Backdrop. Trim the images if necessary to fit the inside of your shoe box. Refer to our photo and glue the printouts to the back, side walls, and the bottom of your shoe box.

2. Step 2: Make the Puppets

   Print the Dora Dancing Trees Finger Puppets and help your child cut them out. Apply glue to one end of the tab and affix to the other end to form a loop. Now you have finger puppets!

3. Step 3: Put on a Show

   Place the box on the edge of a table and add a loop of tape to the bottom to attach it firmly in place. Wearing the finger puppets of dancing trees and Dora and Boots, your child can provide her own account of Dora's adventure to get home for her birthday party!
