Dora Mother's Day Popsicle Sticks Picture Frames

Special moments are worthy of a unique gallery display. This three-fold picture frame set helps you and your preschooler to preserve joyful memories, including the one from making the frames!

Materials

• Colorful popsicle sticks or craft sticks
• Tacky glue
• Yarn, twine, string, or ribbon
• Dora picture frame decorations

Directions

1. Step 1

   Have your child pick a color combination of the popsicle/craft sticks for her frame, e.g., green and blue, or yellow and red and blue. You'll need at least two popsicle sticks to build each side of the frame.

2. Step 2

   Help your child set up two parallel sides of a frame on the table, then lay the other two sides on top of the bottom layer. After finalizing the frame design, apply tacky glue to the back of the top popsicle sticks one by one and press them down firmly on the bottom sticks. Let dry.

3. Step 3

   Make two more picture frames with various color combination.

4. Step 4

   Use a piece of yarn, twine, or ribbon to connect the three frames by wrapping the ribbon around the top and bottom corners of each frame on the left side. Tie a knot at the end and cut away the additional length. Glue the very end to the back of the frame, if desired. Do the same on the right side.

5. Step 5

   Print and cut out the Dora frame decorations. Let your child pick her favorite design and glue the image cutouts to the frames.

6. Step 6

   Cut your photos to fit the windows. Glue them to the back of the frames. Personalize the frames with a special handwritten note to honor this special day. Finally, hang it up where everyone can see!
