Dora Paper Bag Puppet

Your little Dora fan can continue Dora's exploration after the show! Make this quick Dora paper bag puppet and have your child play out her very own Dora episode. Make a Swiper puppet also to make it an interactive play!

Materials

Dora Paper Bag Puppet Printable
Scissors
Tape or glue stick
Paper lunch bag

Tip: This activity is perfect for play dates and parties. Keep plenty of materials on hand for group puppet-crafting.

Directions

Step 1: Make Dora's face and mouth
Print out the Dora Paper Bag Puppet printable. Cut out all the pieces, then, using tape or a glue stick, attach the face to the paper bag flap, lining up the bottom edge of the face to the bottom edge of the flap. Attach the mouth to the front of the bag, just below the flap's edge.
Step 2: Make Dora's arms and body
Attach the arms to the inside creases of the bag, facing front, and the body to the front of the bag, just under her chin (see photo).
Step 3: Make Dora's feet
Attach the feet to the bottom of the bag, from the inside.

Tip: Help your preschooler cut out the puppet pieces. Keep the brown paper lunch bag flat with the flap at the top (facing you) as you attach the pieces.
