Dora Paper Dolls

Remember paper dolls? Here's a Dora version that's extra easy to make, thanks to our printable.

This craft has plenty of steps kids can do, like tracing, coloring, decorating, and cutting with safety scissors.

You'll need to allow extra time for glue or paint to dry.

Materials

Dora Paper Dolls printable
Colored markers or crayons
Scissors
Fabric swatches (optional)
Glitter (optional)
Glue (optional)
Sticky tape (optional)

Tip: If cutting through several layers is difficult for your child, do the cutting, but leave the unfolding for him or her.

Directions

Step 1
Print the Dora Paper Dolls and have your kids color in with markers or crayons.
Step 2
Fold the paper carefully, accordion style, along the dotted lines.
Step 3
Kids can cut out the basic shape, leaving lots of white space around Dora, and parents can cut the fine details. Be careful not to cut the edge where Dora's hands meet.
Step 4
If you'd like, you can glue on swatches of fabric, glitter, and other decorations. Use small pieces of sticky tape to connect several chains together.

Tip: Decorate a doorway, window, or tree with a garland of several Dora doll sets taped together.
