Dora Rocks Puppet Theater

Benny's hosting a sing-along party, and everyone's invited! Set the stage (a cereal box) for your child to explore their musical talents with Dora, Boots, and all their barnyard background-singer friends!

Materials

• Dora Theater Backdrops
• Dora Puppets
• Cereal box
• Scissors
• Glue

Directions

1. Step 1

   Print out the theater backdrops and puppets. Help your child cut out the pieces and follow the instructions on the templates to assemble.

2. Step 2

   Open one end of the cereal box and cut along the side of the box until the box is split in half but not detached. It should resemble a shoebox with the flap opened.

3. Step 3

   Paste the interior templates into the cereal box. Close the box and paste the exterior templates onto the cereal box. Allow time to dry and cut along the lines to create the barn doors.

4. Step 4

   To create the roof, fold where indicated and paste the roof to the top of the cereal box.

5. Step 5

   Set the barn aside to dry, and cut out each of the characters. Create the base of the puppet by folding up the solid black line, then fold the character down the center, apply glue to one side and firmly press both sides together. This will create a double-sided puppet that stands (glue should not be applied to the base of the puppet). <br><br> When the puppets dry, your child's sing-along party can begin!
