Materials

• Polystyrene wreath form
• 2 artificial bouquets in your favorite combination
• Scissors or wire snippers
• Colorful wide ribbon
• Pins or craft glue
• Dora Spring Wreath Decorations
• Colored foam sheets or construction paper
• Small piece of wire for hanging

Directions

1. Step 1

Snip the flower stems and leaves so that they are only about 1 to 3 inches long. It's ideal to create a slightly varied height of the flowers and leaves.

2. Step 2

Kids press the stems into the polystyrene, alternating colors as they go.

3. Step 3

On the outside and inside of the wreath form, add the ribbon with either straight pins (parents only) or craft glue.

4. Step 4

Print the Dora image and "Welcome Spring" message, and cut it out.

5. Step 5

Cut a piece of colored foamie or construction paper that covers up the hollow circle. Glue the Dora image onto the foamie/paper, and then glue or pin the foamie/paper to the back of the wreath form. Trim away edges as needed. Pick your own color for the foamie based on your color choice of flowers.

6. Step 6

Add a small loop of wire for hanging.

7. Alternative: Make a Dora wreath that's even more kid-friendly!

To avoid the cost of artificial bouquets and to get your preschooler more involved in making the craft, make a Dora Paper Flowers Wreath instead.
