Dora Valentine Photo Frame

Start with plain wooden frames, glue on Dora pattern print with decoupage glue, paint the sides, and you've created a personalized Valentine frame. What's even better, it'll be your little Dora fan's treasure for years!

Materials

• Plain wooden frames (available at craft stores at $1-2 each)
• Dora Valentine Patterns
• Decoupage glue such as Mod PodgeŽ
• Craft knife
• Sanding paper
• Poster paints (assorted colors)
• Paintbrush

Directions

1. Step 1

   Print out <u><a href="dora-valentine-wallpaper.jhtml">Dora Valentine Wallpaper</a></u> and pick your design.

2. Step 2

   Apply decoupage glue to the front of a wooden frame and press it facedown onto the back of the sheet of "wallpaper" you selected. Let dry.

3. Step 3

   Use a craft knife to cut around the frame's outside and the inner window. (Parents should do this part.)

4. Step 4

   Smooth out the rough edges with sanding paper.

5. Step 5

   Pick a paint color that's close to the base color of your "wallpaper" design. Paint on the outer and inner sides of the frame. Carefully cover up the edge of the paper with paint so you won't see a tiny white line along the frame edge. (Parents should probably do this part.)

6. Step 6

   Once dry, apply another layer of decoupage glue over the front and sides of the frame.

7. Step 7

   Cut your photo to fit the size of the window, place it in, put back the backing, and secure it in place.
