Directions

Step 1
Print the templates and help kids cut out the head, feathers, and silverware holder.
Step 2: Create the Turkey
With pushpins or double-stick tape, add the head to the front of your pumpkin and the feathers to the back. Choose a pumpkin with a short stem so it's less noticeable. Or, you can pick a pumpkin with a long curved stem and attach the head directly to the stem, so it forms the turkey's neck!
Step 3: Silverware Holder
Fold back along all solid lines and insert tab into slot created to form the silverware holder. Insert silverware and a napkin (to make it look even fancier!). During dinner, help kids write what they are thankful for in the space provided.
