Dragon Dance Streamer

This craft has plenty of steps kids can do, like tracing, coloring, decorating, and cutting with safety scissors.

Materials

Dragon templates
Ribbon (about 4 feet long and 2 inches wide)
Safety scissors
Fabric glue
Craft stick
Sequins, glitter glue, and small decorative ornaments (optional)

Directions

Step 1
On card stock, print out the dragon templates and cut along the dotted lines.
Step 2
Glue one end of the ribbon onto a craft stick. Help your child decorate one or both sides of the ribbon using sequins, decorative ornaments, and glitter glue. Allow for dry time.
Step 3
Fold the dragon face as indicated and glue the craft stick with ribbon in between the printable.<br><br> Fold the dragon tail and glue the other end of the ribbon in between the printable.
Step 4
Allow the craft to dry before handing it over to your child.<br><br> Once the ribbon is ready, your child can proudly wave it around during the Chinese New Year festival!
