Materials

Large pink plastic egg (about 3 1/2 inches high)
Foofa Egg Template
Pink & yellow felt swatches
Scissors
Craft glue
Red crayon or marker
Jar lid (about 1 1/2 inches across) for base

Tip: If you like, you can substitute construction paper for the felt. We cut out the eyes and mouth from our printable, but to keep little hands busy, you can have kids draw their own, instead.

Directions

Step 1: For the flower topper
Using the egg template, cut Foofa's flower top from the pink felt. Referring to the template, cut a circle from the yellow felt. Kids can glue it to the flower's center.
Step 2: For the face
After parents cut out the eyes, nose, and mouth, kids can glue them to the egg.
Step 3: For the flower base
As the face dries, use the template to cut out Foofa's flower base (ours is about 4 inches across) from pale pink felt. Glue its center inside the jar lid, and sit Foofa inside.
