Materials

• Guitar templates
• Scissors
• Large paper bag
• Stapler
• Small candies and trinkets
• Newspaper
• Paper towel roll
• White tissue paper
• Glue and masking tape
• Hole punch
• Ribbon

Directions

1. Step 1

   Print the guitar templates and cut each template where indicated.

2. Step 2

   Open the base of the brown bag and crease both sides.

3. Step 3

   With the sides creased, select a side of the bag to represent the front of the guitar, and then fold both sides about an inch in and staple.

4. Step 4

   Fold the bottom and the top corners back, (see picture for reference) and staple. Turn the bag over and repeat this step.

5. Step 5

   Fill the bag halfway with small trinkets. Fill the rest of the bag with newspaper.<br><br> Cover the paper towel roll with the guitar template (see photo for reference). Insert the paper towel roll into the paper bag, close the bag around the paper towel roll and tightly secure it close by wrapping clear masking tape to connect the bag and paper towel roll.

6. Step 6

   Lift the bag and place a sheet of tissue paper underneath it. Begin to wrap the base of the bag as if you were wrapping a gift. The paper should only cover about 2 to 3 inches of the bottom of the bag. Glue the tissue paper onto the bag.

7. Step 7

   Cut several strips of tissue paper about 3 inches thick. The width will not matter, as you'll need several strips to cover the entire bag depending on the size of the bag. Fold the tissue paper strips and cut slits into it about a half an inch apart. Unfold the tissue paper.<br><br> Starting at the base of the bag, glue the strips of tissue paper over the first layer you glued on. Glue strips around the bag until the entire bag is covered.

8. Step 8

   Attach the templates to the front of the guitar (see picture for reference). Punch a hole in the top and bottom corners of the bag and lace ribbon through it, leaving enough string to hang the guitar from a ceiling. Tie a few knots to ensure that the string will not come loose.
