July 4th Sun Visor

Count your lucky stars that the Fourth of July is here! Cut out star shapes from foam sheets and add them to a store-bought foam visor. Self-adhesive gems give the stars a little extra shine.

This craft has plenty of steps kids can do, like tracing, coloring, decorating, and cutting with safety scissors.

You'll need to allow extra time for glue or paint to dry.

Materials

Red foam sun visor (from craft store)
Blue foam sheet for stars
Self-adhesive gems
Craft glue
Scissors

Directions

Step 1: Cut out the star shapes
Cut out three star shapes from the blue foam sheet. Top each one with a self-adhesive gem.
Step 2: Put together and let dry
Glue the stars to the visor. Let glue dry completely before using. This should take about one hour.
