Kai-lan Valentine Pop-Up Heart Card

It's "SUPER" easy to make a Kai-lan card with a popping heart! Print and cut out the card outside, card inside, and the heart shape, then follow the instructions to fix the heart in place.

Materials

Kai-lan 3-D Heart Card Templates
Card stock
Scissors
Craft knife (parents only)
Craft glue

Directions

Step 1
Print and cut out the three-page templates on card stock. Glue the card's outside and inside templates back to back. Let dry. Fold the card vertically in the middle, and then unfold it.
Step 2
Use a craft knife to cut along the heart's dotted line. Apply glue to the back of ONLY the central heart and the outermost ring. Attach where indicated on the inside of the card and let the glue dry.
Step 3
Place a thin, hard object, such as card stock, along the middle line of the card and fold the card with the card stock in between. Remove the card stock in between, open the card, and enjoy a pop-up heart from Kai-lan!
