Kai-lan No-Sew Asthma Inhaler Case

Your kids will be sure to keep their inhaler handy when they can keep it in a friendly felt case. Plus, our simple no-sew instructions will help you breathe easy as well.

Materials

• Kai-lan Inhaler Case Template
• Scissors
• Felt in various colors
• Fabric glue
• Black permanent marker
• White puffy paint or liquid correction fluid (optional)
• Velcro

Directions

1. Step 1: Prepare the Templates

   Print the Kai-lan Inhaler Case Templates. Cut out the case template pieces on the first page along with the character template pieces of either Kai-lan or Hoho on the second page.

2. Step 2: Cut Out the Felt

   Trace the template pieces on to the various colors of felt as indicated. Cut out the felt pieces.

3. Step 3: Construct the Case

   Apply glue along the two long sides and the bottom of the smaller case piece. Attach it to the larger case piece being sure to carefully align the bottom and the sides to match. Let the glue dry completely. Once the glue is dry, gently flip the case inside out to hide the seams.

4. Step 4: Assemble the Character

   Use the images on the template as a guide to glue the character felt pieces onto the bottom portion of the case. Use a black permanent marker to add details such as the eyes and mouth. A few drops of white puffy paint or correction fluid can be used to add additional details.

5. Step 5: Finishing Touches

   Glue the flower onto the top of the flap. Use the black permanent marker or puffy paint to add detail. Attach a small square of velcro to the inside flap and the front of the case using fabric glue.
