Kai-lan Holiday Cookie Packaging

Holiday cookies look adorable and pack up easily in these take-out containers. The Kai-lan blooms make them even more festive.

Materials

• Take-out containers in holiday hues, available at craft and baking supply stores
• Foil wrapping paper or clear cellophane paper in bright colors
• Craft scissors
• Glue stick
• Red frayed-paper stuffing, available at crafts and baking supplies stores
• Kai-lan Printable Gift Tags
• Ribbons

Directions

1. Step 1

   Cut out circles of various sizes from foil wrapping paper or clear cellophane paper. Cut notches along the circle edges to create "petals." Kids can do this part with just a little help.

2. Step 2

   With glue stick, add the blooms to the take out container.

3. Step 3

   Fill the bottom of the container with the red stuffing. Add cookies. Close box.

4. Step 4

   Print and cut out Kai-lan gift tags. Punch a hole where indicated, thread through a piece of ribbon, wrap both ends around the take-out box hanger, and make a bow tie.
