Kai-lan Egg

Greet spring with Kai-lan. She's el-egg-ant, adorable, and easy to make thanks to our printable, stickable templates. What's more, you can use an egg from your refrigerator at home!

Materials

• Large brown egg, hardboiled and cooled to room temperature
• Printable templates
• Sticker paper
• Black fine-tip marker
• Red or pink construction paper or cardstock
• Stapler (optional) or craft glue

Directions

1. Step 1

   Print and cut out stickers for the hair, eyes, and mouth pieces.

2. Step 2

   Very carefully, peel the paper backing from Kai-lan's bangs only (leave the paper on the rest of the hair) and from the "tab" area on each ear.

3. Step 3

   With the egg in a horizontal position, apply the bangs and then the ear tabs.

4. Step 4

   Peel the backing from the eyes and mouth. Apply them to the egg. With the black marker, draw a nose and eyebrows.

5. Step 5

   Cut a 1 1/2- x 6-inch strip from red or pink construction paper or cardstock. Curl it to create a ring and staple or glue it closed. Rest Kai-lan on her stand!
