Materials

Kai-lan Mother's Day Pop-Up Card Templates
Scissors
Glue stick

Tip: For the sturdiest card, use heavy printing paper.

Directions

Step 1
Cut out the inside and outside card templates. Glue them back to back. Let the card dry and fold it vertically in the middle.
Step 2
Cut out the figures, the grass, and the greeting banner along their dashed outlines. Fold the banner accordion-style outward along the solid lines and inward along the dotted lines. Fold the tabs and the grass as instructed.
Step 3
Glue all the shapes at the designated spots on the inside template.
Step 4
Close the card with the figures laying flat (the blank side facing you) and other shapes being folded. Reopen the card and enjoy a Mother's Day surprise from Kai-lan and Rintoo!
