Kiki CD Case

Materials

• Kiki CD Case Template
• Decorative paper in red, light pink, dark pink, and white
• Scissors
• Glue stick
• Blue marker
• Hot pink marker
• Crayons (OPTIONAL)

Directions

1. Step 1

   Trace an open CD case onto a piece of red paper. Cut it out and fold it in half. Glue along two of the edges. Cut a curved edge at the opening.

2. Step 2

   You will now make both the front and back of Kiki’s outfit. The front goes on the front of your CD cover; the back of the outfit gets glued to the opposite side. Print the template and cut out all the shapes. Trace the shirt shape twice onto white paper and cut it out. You will have two white shirts, one for the front and one for the back. Glue them in place. Now cut out the vest front and back pieces from dark pink paper. Glue the vest front to the shirt front and the vest back to the shirt back. Now cut out the pocket and glue it to the front piece.

3. Step 3

   Add pink color to the lower part of KiKi's shirt with a pink crayon. With the blue marker, add dots to Kiki’s sleeves. With the pink marker, draw her zipper and any stitch lines, if you prefer.
