Linny Costume

Your child can look just like Linny with this Halloween costume that's made mostly from items from around your house. Talk about not too tough!

Materials

• Linny mask
• Photo paper or heavy card stock
• Elastic cording
• Hole puncher
• Masking tape
• 27- by 54-in. red fleece, cotton, or bed sheet
• 8 1/2- by 11-in. swatches of yellow, blue, and red felt
• Brown velour pants suit (or brown T-shirt and pants)

Directions

1. Step 1

   Print the Linny mask on heavy photo or card stock using a color printer. Cut out the mask, eyes, and nose. Punch holes at either side and tie a length of elastic between the holes. Tip: Before punching the holes, place one or two pieces of masking tape on the inside of the mask as reinforcement where you'll be punching the holes.

2. Step 2

   Use the red fabric and felt to make a <u><a href="wonder-pets-save-the-day-cape.jhtml">Wonder Pets Cape</a></u> for Linny.

3. Step 3

   Dress your child in a velour pants suit (or any brown outfit) and add the cape. Your child is on her way!
