Max & Ruby Face Painting

Attach some ears and apply some face paint. The little bunny in your house will thank you!

Materials

• Water-based face paints
• Brushes or cotton swabs
• Water for mixing the paints (and for the cleanup)
• Washcloths, wipes, or paper towels (just in case)

Directions

1. Step 1

   Start with a pink nose. Draw an oblong shape from nostril to nostril. Then make a V-shape to the bottom center of the nose. Max and Ruby have pink noses, but for other rabbits you can try brown or black too.

2. Step 2

   Next, outline the V-shape in black. Continue the line from the tip of the V to just above the center of the upper lip.

3. Step 3

   Keep going up and out to the left like you're making an open letter <i>J</i>. Then, start back at the centerline and make the same shape on the right.

4. Step 4

   Draw whiskers on each side between the nose and mouth, going out into the cheek area.

5. Step 5

   Then, in red, draw the bottom of a half circle on the lower lip.
