Materials

Yellow calico fabric
Scissors
Decorative ribbon
Fabric glue
Cardstock

Directions

Step 1
Cut a rectangle from the yellow calico that measures 3 by 4 inches. Then cut two "armholes" at the top corners. Trace the shape onto the cardstock and cut out the cardstock shape.
Step 2
Glue a short piece of ribbon to the top corners of the apron's bib to create a loop. Glue a second piece of ribbon to one side for a tie. Then add another tie on the opposite side.
Step 3
Draw and cut out a pocket shape from yellow calico. Glue it to the apron.
Step 4
Glue the apron to the cardstock.
Step 5
Line up the fork, knife, and spoon. Tie the apron ribbons around the flatware. Set above the dinner plate.
