This craft is best suited for parents to make on their own or with minimal help from kids.

Materials

Dress-Up Templates
Scissors
Blue baseball cap
Glue

Directions

Step 1
Print the Dress-Up Templates on card stock paper and cut out the pieces.
Step 2
To create the helmet, affix the two tabs together, flip over and glue the feather to the back in the center (see photo for reference).
Step 3
Attach the template to the back of a baseball cap, and the helmet is all done!
Step 4
Print and cut out the four-page shield printable and glue or tape it together following the instructions on the printable. Glue the paper shield to the cardboard backing. Cut a piece of cardboard about 8 1/2" by 11" to make a sturdy backing for the shield. Cut an additional 8-inch strip of cardboard to make a handle on the back of the shield. Staple the ends of the strip to the cardboard backing. Tip: attach the handle vertically on the shield.
Step 5
Attach the badge printable to a button, then affix to your child's shirt. Now your little knight is ready to perform some knightly duties and earn reward badges!
