Molly Easter Egg

This craft requires extra parent involvement and a watchful eye, because it may require sharp tools or intricate handiwork.

You'll need to allow extra time for glue or paint to dry.

Ages: 4-6

Materials

Large brown egg, hardboiled and cooled to room temperature
Printable template
Sticker paper
Blue construction paper or cardstock
Stapler (optional) or craft glue

Directions

Step 1
Use sticker paper to print out the printable template, and then cut out all the pieces.
Step 2
Very carefully, peel the paper backing. With the egg in a vertical position, apply the stickers (see photo for reference).
Step 3
Cut a 1 1/2- x 6-inch strip from blue construction paper or cardstock. Curl it to create a ring and staple or glue it closed. Rest Molly on the stand!

Tip: For less cutting and sticking, use a fine-tip black marker to draw in the eyebrows.
