Benjamin Ornament

Kids will hop at the chance to display their handmade ornament at the top of the tree! Make this simple craft out of a plastic lid and our printable!

Materials

• Benjamin ornament templates
• Plastic container lids (such as yogurt lids)
• Scissors
• Glue
• String

Directions

1. Step 1

   Print out the Benjamin ornament templates and help your preschooler cut the images out. For large plastic lids, cut along the dotted lines. For smaller lids, cut around the inside circle or cut the image to fit the lid.

2. Step 2

   Glue the images on both sides of the lid.

3. Step 3

   Parents should carefully punch a small hole at the top of the lid using a craft knife, and then thread a string through the hole and knot.<br><br> Once complete, kids can proudly hang these ornaments on their tree or give to others as a gift.
