Ruby Winter Play Set Craft

Kids can help get Ruby ready, prepare a playful prop, and set the scene for a winter wonderland show that they'll direct! Simply print out the Ruby action figure template, snowman and backdrops to get the show started.

The rabbits run every day on Nick & NIck Jr.

Materials

• Ruby Play Set Templates
• Scissors
• Glue

Directions

1. Step 1: Prepare For Crafting

   Print out the templates on card stock paper and help kids cut out all the pieces (keeping the action figure, snowman and background template pieces in three separate piles).

2. Step 2: Create Ruby

   Create slits where indicated on the body template. Apply glue to the tab and curl the template to create the body. Have kids insert the arms into the slits created. Fold the feet accordion style and glue to the base of the body template (inserting the base into the fold created).

3. Step 3: Create the Snowman

   Fold each section along solid lines. Glue the tabs labeled "A" together. Next roll the sides and glue the tabs labeled "B" together. Once each section is complete, apply glue and stack the snowman (see photo for reference).

4. Step 4: Set the Scene

   Affix the two background templates together and attach to a wall.<br><br> Your child's winter-themed play set is complete--help her put on a show!
