Materials

• Iron-on transfer paper
• Wonder Pets Save the Beetles Iron-on Image (Reversed)
• Wonder Pets Save the Beetles Iron-on Image (Non-Reversed)
• Scissors
• Iron
• Heavy bath towel
• T-shirt or other clothing

Directions

1. Step 1

   Place the iron-on transfer paper into your ink-jet color printer as indicated on the package and print the iron-on design of your choice. Set the printable aside for a few minutes to dry, and then cut out the images--cutting close to the colored edge of the image. If you're using iron-on transfer paper that requires you to print the "mirror image," print Wonder Pets Save the Beetles Iron-on Image (Reversed). Some transfer papers do not require a mirror image. If so, print Wonder Pets Save the Beetles Iron-on Image (Non-Reversed).

2. Step 2

   Cut out the image, leaving a slight border of white all the way around. Try and cut rounded shapes, as this will make peeling away the paper easier later. Place the transfer paper onto the T-shirt and iron the image with firm and steady pressure in a circular motion. Start at one corner and work your way slowly to the opposite corner, and then do the same for the other two corners. Finish by moving the iron in a circular motion around the entire area for 10-15 seconds using steady pressure.

3. Step 3

   Check the instructions on the package before peeling away the paper to reveal the image. Some transfer papers work best while the paper is still hot, and others need to cool completely. Starting at one edge, slowly peel the protective sheet away from the garment.
