Team Umizoomi Dump Truck Craft

Create a cool, paper dump truck toy without getting your hands dirty! This super simple craft is made from our templates and an egg carton. Make UmiCar too so UmiFriends can have a race, just like in Team Umizoomi's "Great Shape Race!"

Materials

• Dump Truck Templates
• Scissors
• Hole punch
• Egg carton
• Tape or glue
• Brass fasteners

Directions

1. Step 1

   Print the Dump Truck Templates on card stock or heavy weight paper and cut out the pieces. Punch holes in the wheels where indicated.

2. Step 2

   Fold along the tab lines and affix the side view of the truck to the front and back pieces (see photo for reference).

3. Step 3

   Cut a row off the egg carton. Apply glue to the carton and attach it to the Dump Truck shell you created in Step 2.

4. Step 4

   Insert the wheels into the egg carton where the wheels' grooves are located. Puncture the egg carton and attach wheels using brass fasteners.<br><br> Allow for the truck to dry before kids start hitting the road with it!
