Team Umizoomi Milli Easter Egg

Take a cue from shapes and patterns to create this easy-to-make Milli from a pink plastic egg.

Materials

• Hot pink plastic jumbo egg
• Milli Egg Template
• Inkjet sticker paper
• Modeling clay in yellow
• Lanyard cord or ribbon in orange
• Stapler (for parents only)
• Pink construction paper

Directions

1. Step 1

   Using sticker paper, print the Milli Egg Template. Peel off the paper backing and apply the face and flowers to the egg. If you don't have sticker paper, print on regular paper and glue Milli's face and flowers to the egg.

2. Step 2

   Roll a small amount of yellow modeling clay into a long "snake." Press it onto the egg around Milli's face.

3. Step 3

   Mold two yellow caps for the top of her head. Snip two short lengths of the orange lanyard and insert them into the yellow caps.

4. Step 4

   To create the stand, cut a 2- by 8-inch strip of pink construction paper. Fold it in half lengthwise. Coil into a ring, overlapping the ends. Staple in place.
