Transform your little Umi fan into Milli with this easy dress-up craft. And snap a photo of her "Milli" moment!
Catch the friends weekdays on Nick

Cut out two egg-carton cups and trim it down to resemble Milli's node. Paint them yellow. Let dry. Note: For best results, use an egg carton that's made of foam and has a smooth surface.
Use a pushpin to poke a hole at the top center of the egg-carton cups. Push two pieces of pipe cleaners through each hole. Bend the bottom tip (about 1/4 inch) of the two pipe cleaners in opposite directions. Use duct tape to affix the bottom tips to the pink hair band where a "node" should be. Repeat the procedure to affix another two pipe cleaners with a "node" to the other side of the hair band. In order for the pipe cleaners to stick up firmly, make sure the directions of the two bended tips are in line with the hair band.
Pull down the egg-carton cups to the bottom of the pipe cleaners so that they are immediately on top of the hair band and completely hide the duct tape.
Cut two pieces of dark red ribbon that measure slightly longer than the exposed pipe cleaners. To create one ponytail on one side, sandwich the two bundled pipe cleaners, side by side, between the two pieces of ribbon. Apply fabric glue to the center and the edge of one piece of ribbon, stick it to the pipe cleaners along their length, then glue on the other piece of ribbon to seal the pipe cleaners inside. Try smoothing it out as much as possible. Cut away the additional length of ribbon. Repeat the procedure on the other side for the other "ponytail."
With the two ponytails sticking up on either side, bend them down from the bottom and shape them bit by bit to replicate Milli's "S"-shape curls. Make sure that the flat side of the “ponytails” faces the hair band.
