She'll be tickled pink when she sees this costume. Sew it together or use fabric glue. The design is simple. And the headband can be made quickly with inexpensive craft supplies. A store-bought shirt and leggings complete the outfit.
Your backyard friends are on Nick Jr. every day

Print the Uniqua Costume Templates and enlarge them to fit your child. Use the enlarged templates to cut out the body pieces from the pale pink felt.
Sew or glue the side seams, shoulder seams, and crotch seam of the body pieces. (If gluing, turn the dress inside-out after done so the seams will be on the inside of the dress.)
Cut out a few big circles from the hot pink felt and glue them to the costume.
Cut a long slit down the center back of the costume. With scissors, snip the ribbon into six 6-inch lengths At equal intervals, attach the ribbons by sewing or with glue to create ties that will close up the back of the costume. Set aside.
If you are making a headband, cut stiff pink felt into a 6-inch x 2-inch strip. Poke one small hole at each end and insert fine elastic; knot in place. The elastic will go under your child’s chin to hold the headband in place. Then, poke two holes in the top and insert the pipecleaners or glittered floral wire to make the antennae. Glue to secure. NOTE: If you are using a storebought headband, simply twist the antennae onto the top of the headband and glue in place. Let dry. Coil the antennae.
With face paint, apply a pale pink undercoat, then add hot pink dots.
Dress your child in the shirt and leggings. Then have her pull on the body suit. Stuff it with fill to make it puffy. Tie up the back closures. And then have her put on the antennae.
