Now your preschooler can join the Wonder Pets on their next adventure.
Save the day, every day, on Nick Jr.

Print out the Wonder Pets Cape Diagram and follow the steps while making the cape.
Take a large piece of fleece (27 inches by 54 inches) or other material and fold it in half lengthwise, creating two squares, approximately 27 inches on each side.
From the top (with the fold to the left), measure 3 1/2 inches down and across the fleece and mark with a fabric pen. Again from the top left corner, measure out 27 inches diagonally down the material. Mark it. Draw quarter-circles freehand between the 3 1/2-inch marks (see the <a href="wond_cape_template.jhtml">template</a>). Then from the bottom-left corner to the top right, draw a quarter-circle through the mark at 27 inches.
From the top again measure 1/2 inch down, mark it, and then draw a line 3 1/2 inches across--until you reach the quarter-circle line.
Take your scissors and cut out the sections as displayed in the template. Note: For added safety--especially with small children--make a cut where the neck strap meets the cape and reattach it with a small piece of Velcro. This will allow the neck strap to pull apart easily.
Print out the Wonder Pets Badge Template. Cut out all three shapes and trace with the fabric pen onto the colored felt swatches.
Cut the felt pieces around the outlines of your templates. With fabric glue (not too much), attach the yellow felt to the blue. Let dry, then glue the red "W" to the yellow piece. Again, let dry.
When the badge has completely dried, glue it to the middle of the cape. Let it dry. Present to your kids for some Wonder-ful adventures!
