Yo Gabba Gabba! Dad's Tie Album

Materials

• Yo Gabba Dad's Tie Template
• Dark green, medium green, red, white, black, red, yellow and orange felt
• Scissors
• Fabric glue
• Photos, printed or photo-copied and cut to 1.5-inch squares
• Self-adhesive foamie/felt letters or puffy paints
• String, ribbon or lanyard for hanging

Directions

1. Step 1

   Print the templates. Cut them out. To make the ties, cut out the shape and trace it on red felt for the Muno tie, on orange felt for the DJ Lance tie, and on the medium green felt for the Brobee tie. Trace the rest of the templates onto felt, cutting out the accents, such as the DJ Lance stars in yellow and white, the Muno eye in black and white, and the Brobee stripes in green.

2. Step 2

   Print or copy your photos and cut them out. Glue one to the front of each tie. Snip four short strips of black felt to create a frame for the photo on the Muno tie; four strips of white for the frame on the DJ Lance tie; and four strips of red for the frame on the Brobee tie. Glue in place.

3. Step 3

   With fabric glue, glue eye pieces to the Muno tie, the stars to the DJ Lance tie, and the strips to the Brobee tie.

4. Step 4

   Apply the self-adhesive foamie letters, one to each tie to spell "Dad." Or have your child write the letters with puffy paints. (If you have more ties for your family, spell out longer words, such as "Daddy" or "Papa.")

5. Step 5

   Snip two holes near the top edges of each tie "knot." Weave a length of ribbon, lanyard, or string through the holes and then hang up the ties garland-style.
