Here's a simple do-it-yourself basket perfect for pint-sized dino fanatics. Fill it with dinosaur eggs, a sweet nest, and dont forget the dinos themselves!

Make a Dinosaur Nest

This may look like a real nest, but it's really a sweet treat. You can make this healthy snack out of shredded wheat and marshmallows.

Transform regular eggs into dinosaur eggs, with simple egg decorating techniques such as rubber band resist and sponge painting. Or try tie-dyeing the eggs by adding food coloring onto a paper towel, wrapping the paper towel around the egg, then wrapping the covered egg in plastic wrap for a few hours until the color transfers to the egg.

Standing Printable Dinosaurs

Print these easy-to-assemble dinosaurs on cardstock paper, secure together with glue or tape, and get ready for some Jurassic fun!

Once the nest, eggs, and paper dinosaurs are complete, they are ready to go inside a basket. Fill an empty basket with cellophane grass, add one of the decorated eggs into the nest, and lay it inside the basket. Lay the other eggs inside the basket and place the standing dinosaurs next to the nest (they're guarding the dinosaur eggs).
