This DVD is best for preschoolers ages 3-5

DJ Lance provides an eclectic soundtrack as robot Plex and friendly monsters Brobee, Foofa, Muno, and Toodee make new friends, and learn how to greet people, find things and share in four episodes of the hit children's TV show.

Jack Black makes a special appearance in "New Friends," and he's the perfect guest for the wild world of Gabbaland! Preschoolers will learn lots of basic skills--being polite, sharing toys, dealing with fears--but will be so busy singing and dancing, they won't realize they've actually gotten an education!

For Babies 0-2?

MAYBE Very young babies are likely to be drawn in by the constant motion and colorful characters, even though they're not ready for concepts like being polite and greeting people properly. Two-year-olds can definitely learn a thing or two about sharing when Brobee announces he doesn't want to share his toys, and the others show him how much more fun it is when he does.

FOR PRESCHOOLERS 3-5?

YES There's so much silliness and camaraderie, preschoolers will be hooked. They'll have a blast learning how to draw a truck, practicing their colors, numbers, and sounds, and repeating knock-knock jokes. They'll also have fun playing a hide-and-seek-like game of peek-a-boo and will proudly show off the new Dancey Dance moves they've mastered, including the "Disco Roll" and the "Mini Spinny." Preschoolers may also finally master the art of saying "good-bye," which is often the most difficult part of a play date.

FOR KIDS 6-9?

MAYBE Many children in this age group have outgrown the show, although it does have a surprising number of older kids in its fan base. Those viewers may especially enjoy watching Jack Black don a DJ Lance outfit and follow Plex's call to "go crazy." That's something Black is definitely good at, and it sets the warm and wacky tone for the rest of the DVD.
