Lindsay Wildlife Museum is a unique natural history and environmental education center where live, wild animals are just inches away. Parents, teachers, and children are given the opportunity to connect with wildlife and learn about the animals found in our backyards and open spaces. More than 50 species of live, non-releasable, native California animals are on exhibit. These close yet supervised encounters include wild animals such as eagles, hawks, foxes, snakes, and coyotes. This sanctuary also has an on-site wildlife hospital that treats more than 6,000 native California animals every year. The museum features changing art and natural history exhibits, classes for adults and children as young as age 3, and a discovery room with hands-on activities for children to learn and engage.

Families can choose to adopt an animal, a unique and thoughtful gift for adults or children where they can enjoy a special animal without any of the work. Family support and donations will help provide food, medicine, expert medical attention, and enrichment activities for all the native California animals in the museum's care. Children are given the opportunity to feel more connected with animal life and realize they are making a difference in preserving the environment's natural habitat.
